Auto Drain Valve for Air Compressor Working Principal

Electronic Auto Drain Valve

Electronic Auto Drain Valves (EAD) are designed to remove condensate from air compressors, compressed air dryers, and air receivers up to any size, type or manufacturer. While replacement automatic drains and auto drain kits are designed for all your maintenance and replacement needs. Electronic auto drain valve for air compressor - powered by a 230 V supply , mounted at the bottom of receiver tank. It has 3 limit switches , once water in the AD reaches the topmost limit switch it activates a diaphragm valve which then opens to push out the water using the upstream compressed air itself. And when the water reaches the lower limit switch the diaphragm closes.

Mechanical Auto Drain Valve

It's a simple float type mechanism, wherein when the water in the AD reaches certain point , the mechanical float valve raises up due to buoyancy and hence opens up a port through which the water leaves by the motive compressed air itself. The float comes down back to its original position and hence seals the outlet port.

Internal Float Operated Automatic Drain Valve

The Internal Float-Operated Drain Valves are a universal replacement for most Manufacturer’s Filter Housings float type drain. The Internal auto drain also operates in manual mode. A Normally Closed drain valve is Automatic, which works when the buoy ascends because of amassed fluid, releasing condensate and trash from inside the channel bowl.
